Quoted $30/night for a small piston single

Flew in in a C182. Fast aircraft parking service by the line men, tidy restrooms and lobby. We were just planning on picking up a passenger, still were going to be charged a $30 ramp fee so we purchased 10 gallons of 100LL to waive the fee. Had an excessive mag drop on runup on the way out on a Saturday. Mx shop on field was willing to come out for a $500 call out fee (!!) to check the mags and spark plugs. Luckily the line guy connected us with another A&P he knew who fixed us up fast.

If you want the Red Carpet rolled out for you, visit Epic Jet Center. Not very often does a red carpet get rolled out for me and my Bonanza. It makes an impression. The service was also good. I had trouble with a hot start and they were there to assist me out. Even brought out the external power unit when I ran my battery down. I have been here a few times and the service is consistently good. Plus you get to taxi by some big old hangars.

I fly out of Epic regularly. They have good personnel, always helpful and smiling. Finest service I’ve had at an FBO!

The fuel costs that have been shown in ForeFlight have not been accurate. I fueled up at this place and was billed around 60 cents extra per gallon. I am not sure who is posting these lower costs to attract visitors.

Flew in to Bakersfield and decided to use Epic. Ramp fee $30 waived with 10 gallons for a 152. They loaned me the crew car which has a 2 hour limit. Anything after 2 hours is $30 an hour. Fine facility and and fine personnel.
