Heartland Aviation (KAIA)

We'd been hoping to get into AIA, and at last the winds worked in our favor. Gaylene was friendly and extremely helpful over the phone, answering all my questions and setting up the crew car for us. Then Larry "carried out the plan" when we arrived over the weekend, and he was great to visit with. I even left with a HEARTLAND AVIATION T-shirt. A fun, memorable stop for us.

This is a good spot to top off fuel during standard operating times. Nothing special, but all the things you require. We were seeking a fast turn, but the weather ahead was not fine. The personnel at Heartland took care of us and even lent us a crew car to go out and grab a bite to eat or locate a hotel. After we dined, the weather got better, so we proceeded on our route. They have a modest hangar, tie downs, and maintenance accessible if you get in a jam. The airport is the ancient triangular military layout.

Fantastic service. We came to Alliance for a funeral and visit our financial adviser. We were met on the ramp and fueled in moments. They pulled the courtesy car out on the ramp so my 95 year old mother in law didn’t have to walk 100 feet. Friendly staff and good place to stop.
