The folks at Heartland Aviation were good! Used the courtesy car to get lunch and then went to visit Carhenge. The airport is super well kept.

Our flight to Chadron had to divert to Alliance due to bad weather conditions. EVERYONE at Heartland Aviation was extremely helpful. The manager was on her way home when she observed our landing lights from the road and turned back to see if we needed anything. I don’t think she knew what she was in for. We ended up getting stuck overnight and they arranged for transport for 7 passengers and 3 crew members to and from the hotel in town. I have never experienced such hospitality and willingness to go out of ones way to assist a group of strangers. Thank you for literally saving our butts out there! You guys rock!!

Had to have an emergency stop here on my way to Oshkosh when my RV12’s pitot tube snapped off. The folks over at Heartland were able to assist us fix it and turned a few day stop to just a few hours! Big thanks to everyone there they are super nice and is certainly a location to stop at for fuel or just to get out of the sun.
