Brand new runway. Wind sock situated on the west side, midfield. Difficult to observe behind the trees if approaching from the west. Spectacular view of the waterfall southwest of the field in your downwind to base turn for RWY 02.

Beautiful freshly paved runway as of 8/1/25 Recommend checking flag midfield to backup windsock and confirm best landing runway.

Landed runway 02 on March 19, 2024. Runway was absolutely not resurfaced! That said, it is not really that rough. I took the Cherokee 6 over the lake, announced a low pass over 02 and from 1000 feet above the runway you can plainly see that it was not resurfaced. Landed, parked at the tie downs, and walked the runway. It's evident to me that the fellow below me in the comments didn't exit his plane. The fissures in the runway are at least 2 inches wide, with the occasional chip-seal patch here and there.
