GR got a new dispenser much better now!

Good fuel stop. Self serve had trouble reading my card, took four tries but it did finally work. City personnel came out and looked at it, said they will be getting a qtpod eventually.

This is a good airport with no services in the middle of nowhere. Fuel cost is good and the fuel pump functioned as well or superior to any other self serve. I phoned the city administrator ahead to confirm the fuel cost and the pump was operational. Everything was just as she guaranteed, in order and functioning fine.

Nice runway, the fuel card reader is inop as of 4/22/25 so do not plan on fuel for now. They mentioned they were not able to publish a NOTAM.

Pump is almost impossibly hard to operate. Very tough to start, and very high pressure, with the unavoidable result of fuel spilling and spraying everywhere. Steer clear if at all possible. Otherwise a charming little airport.

Good runway, fine airport, has a port-a-potty but no lounge. There’s a sign for a car rental company called rabbit rentals. Today 6/29/2021 the fuel pump is very difficult to use. Was only able to squeeze .5 gallons out of it. Handle would not go down, and previous comments showing it’s very high pressure when it does work. Hose was vibrating and the pump is pretty loud. I would not count on fueling up here.
