June 29, 2026Yep, the fuel pump is out, and there was nobody around to lend a hand. Still, it’s a beautiful setting with decent transient ramp space (bring ropes). Runway surface is okay. Town is nearby, though there isn’t much there.

April 28, 2026As of 5/23/26, I can confirm the self-service fuel is still inop. Not sure if airport personnel can provide fuel during the week.

March 3, 2026The old Hayes Street Station restaurant is still gone, but Chiles y Milagros has opened up in that spot. A pretty good Mexican place, with some American food on the menu too. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, 8am to 9pm. Closed Mondays. 21 Hayes Street, Bridgeport, CA. Just a short walk across the foot bridge and over Hwy 395. No AVGAS at Bridgeport. Note: traffic pattern is 700' AGL.
