Fantastic FBO with good personnel. I love flying into here because everybody around here is so welcoming.

Good spot with welcoming folks. Fuel pump self serve functions well. Camping zone is marvelous.

I refueled with Bald Eagle on 1/21/2023 and can confirm that the self-serve pumps are operating - they have two pumps for 100LL and one for JetA.

Self serve system has been out of function since February. Full-serve truck is accessible

Good service from Bald Eagle. Used self-serve fuel. They supplied “progressive taxi” directions to the campground, and then stopped by to welcome and familiarize us with the airport and town. Short walk into the State Park - which is essentially a “working” 1880’s gold mining town. Enjoyable place to visit - but very hot in late July! Camped at the airport overnight with one other plane. Peaceful and well-equipped.

Good people. No self serve Jet A, tank is just for storage.

Flew in for overnight, called ahead and Shane had a car waiting for me. Fair rental rate for 24 hours. I will be back and strongly suggest. - ronnieschier

Columbia Airport and Bald Eagle FBO are gems. We flew in from Albuquerque in a Cessna 421. Rental car was simple to reserve and pickup (10 feet from FBO). Maxwell F. was fantastic in helping us and running the airfield. Camping on the airfield is perfect. It looks like an old fire base (the new fire base is on the northeast side of field). They have running water, flushing toilets, and showers all for a small fee. No bugs that we noticed as we slept under the stars in September. There are plenty of campsites. The "taxiway" to aircraft camping parking is in poor shape but you can taxi on the grass runway. There is some terrain around the airport so be careful on approach and departure. There are two good lakes for paddleboarding or watersports nearby--New Melones and Lake Alpine. We went Lake Alpine and loved it.
