Sky Manor Airport (N40)

Beautiful, nicely kept airport with a terrific restaurant and staff. Unfortunately, our first trip here will also be the last. After asking several times, we were told to “park anywhere not reserved” and directed to a location, then told to move the aircraft again onto the grass. A woman then came over and loudly told us, in front of everyone, to move the plane. Courtesy between pilots should mean patience and help, not being scolded. Rude radio comments over a small pronunciation mistake just added to it.

Cool small airport with really good fuel costs. The eatery looks fine, but was closed by the time we got there. A few items to observe: pump 1 is very slow, pump 2 is okay, both static reels are broken and wont stay extended.

The 5/3 comment saying there was no fuel gives the wrong impression. The airport has plenty available, and aside from a power outage, fuel service is 24/7.

There is a porta potty on the field for after hours & fuel is 24/7 self-serve.
