April 10, 2026What a fantastic little airport. The dirt runway is narrow, but nice and smooth. Taxi toward the Inn, park by the old hangar, and walk in. Cavern tours are available. There’s also a motel, restaurant, gift shop, convenience store, gas station, and dinosaurs to check out.

September 26, 2025Runway is in fine condition just a little over grown, maybe ankle high weeds on the edges. The folks are very nice but if you plan to go to the caverns it's a mile walk after the gas station. I highly suggest checking it out.

November 21, 2024This is NOT the airstrip that in that YouTube documentary - That was a different airstrip on an Indian reservation near the Havasupai Indian reservation- this airstrip is featured in the YouTube video and the gentleman clearly states he was trying to land closer to the rim so did not utilize this strip. This is privately owned- underutilized by pilots- and a true jewel. I plan on being there tomorrow night.
