Runway is in fine condition just a little over grown, maybe ankle high weeds on the edges. The folks are very nice but if you plan to go to the caverns it's a mile walk after the gas station. I highly suggest checking it out.

This is NOT the airstrip that in that YouTube documentary - That was a different airstrip on an Indian reservation near the Havasupai Indian reservation- this airstrip is featured in the YouTube video and the gentleman clearly states he was trying to land closer to the rim so did not utilize this strip. This is privately owned- underutilized by pilots- and a true jewel. I plan on being there tomorrow night.

Suggest you not land here even with prior permission as your plane may be seized by tribal police for no reason other than extorting funds from you. "Should we go outside" on YouTube for further details.
