June 3, 2025Visited for the first time. Jet A and 100LL is avail at the date of writing 100LL was $7.20. Land on runway 25 it has an uphill slope. Depart on 7 downhill. Rest rooms are accessible opposite side of the fuel pink building. Unfortunately they have not been serviced and I think a homeless person was staying next to the rest rooms. Go into town for the facilities. No one on site, the banks sport lounge is good fun. The place needs some upkeep. students should keep away.

June 17, 2022I flew in here on an engine break-in trip. The slope on the runway is considerable and somewhat confusing. That combined with a stiff, choppy cross wind created a difficult approach and landing. This was a weekday, there was no one else at the airport or in the air. I walked uptown about 10 minutes to a fine, local small town Mexican eatery for lunch. The oil field region in California is an entirely different world that few folks comprehend even exists.
