April 6, 2025KXSA is a go-to welcoming airport w/ a well appointed/comfortable facility, good Approaches & Lighting, and low priced fuel 24/7. ATC services from Potomac are pro, and well paced. Off/under TAPPA, which intersects a bunch of major N/S routes (so much easier when it was Victor 1/16). I've always been made to feel welcome at KXSA. Kept with pride by the KXSA staff, this place is a jewel for Essex County VA. Sincere "Well Done" to the dedicated crew at KXSA. They've earned this +++ review!

August 16, 2024Very fine red roofed FBO. Cordial personnel inexpensive fuel costs. Oil also obtainable for purchase at the FBO. Be advised the crew car was a stick shift when I was present. Noise abatement turn left as soon as possible from runway 10 is posted.

July 24, 2024Stopped for fuel, the " janitor " as he is known was a good assist and super welcoming.
