September 1, 2023No interaction with anyone on the ground. Ate at Ella’s at the Airport eating place; fine but a little high-priced. Unbeknownst to me (no NOTAMS and their website was lacking of data) they were having an open house at the airport, which is okay except for the Huey that came in and hover-taxied past the line of parked planes blasting debris into my plane!

December 24, 2025Swift Air UL94 hasn't been available since roughly November 2024, when they switched over to GAMI G100UL fuel.

May 29, 2025Fine, but active GA airport. Every 2nd weekend is "display day" for property tax exemption program. Many fine planes on display, with the 99er's hosting docents for tours. Airport Mgr puts 100LL on sale over these weekends. Discount is generally .75 to a $1 off of self-serve. Ella's restaurant is first rate with a terrific patio on the transient apron to watch planes and eat. Pilots flying in for brunch, lunch or dinner get a 15% discount off the bill if you tell the server you're a pilot.
