I stopped in kwld a week ago 5/9/22 it is a very fine runway and ramp. Had a little technical issue with fuel pump. It lost its internet connection. I called the airport manager and he had his techs respond right away. The manager Shawn was very helpful the building was very spacious cool and clean. The fuel was also very inexpensive Overall very nice I will stop in Winfield again.

Affordable fuel, tidy restrooms, and the coldest water in Kansas. What else does an individual require? The FBO was somewhat old-fashioned but the wood paneling was in a way calming after a morning of flying across Eastern Colorado and Western Kansas. Incidentally if you need to conduct some work there are around 12 vacant offices that would likely be very peaceful. Actually I did not observe a single other individual there when we stopped at noon.

Self serve Jet A and 100LL simple to operate. Fine costs. Had a courtesy car during business hours if their MX guys don’t need it...call ahead. Large ramp, tidy facility, welcoming staff.
