March 14, 2026Only one runway was open to the public today because of heavy military activity. Make sure you check the NOTAMs and call operations if anything is unclear. On the right downwind for 8, tower told me a fighter jet was going to pass directly underneath me. And sure enough, it did. Very cool to see, but there was no room for sloppiness. Also, the ground taxi instructions threw me off and didn’t line up with the diagram. Might’ve been my mistake, but I asked for progressive taxi, and to be fair, they were friendly and helpful the whole time.

June 19, 2025Million Air is finished with its renovation. Really fine lounge. Tower told me (C182), "Enter the Delta from the east at 1,200 feet, report 5 mile final." Then, "Fly midfield at 1,200, then join right downwind for 17." Cordial experience overall, with fighter jets all over the place.
