August 1, 2025Holy cow, this FBO is a hidden treasure! Towered, but never too busy. Always a simple entry and landing. Wonderful long runway, plus extra parallel if ever necessary. Scenic views of the lake in the pattern. Controllers are friendly and skilled. Full service fuel prices are fair and self service 24/7 is an option. The FBO is beautiful with awesome lounge and conference room. And best of all, no fees... for landing, tie downs, or overnight. I stayed for a week at no extra charge, 10/10

February 16, 2025VUJ is always a simple airport to fly into. The controllers are top-notch and it is usually a fast and easy sequence in for landing and then simple taxi to the FBO. FBO is also very fine! Plus, cheaper 100LL than what you'll find closer to Charlotte makes this stop an easy choice each time.
