Avflight Traverse City (KTVC)

Fantastic FBO! They’re operating out of the new facility, although construction at the front is still being finished. Everyone was helpful whenever we needed them. Tie-down for a C-182 ran $10 per night.

No potable water cart available. They only let us know an hour before departure. Plan for that.

GA planes now get hit with a $30 nightly fee

Good service. My C182Q was Marshaled in to the parking spot and quickly refueled. We remained 7 days. $7 landing fee and $7 per night parking.

Fine airport and quite well managed FBO. Very nice facilities and rather good service. They did not have a line person direct us to a parking spot but they did tie the plane down after we shut down. They did not help us with our luggage to the terminal. They were helpful with our bags taking them out to the plane and gave us a ride out there and removed the cones and tie downs. Fuel prices were a little higher but I expect to pay more for the fuel if I am getting the services.

Very friendly folks. We happened to arrive during the week they were switching from the old FBO building to the new one, so everything felt a little unusual. The staff more than made up for that and were extremely helpful. The new building looks fantastic, even though we missed the grand opening.

Excellent FBO. The staff have consistently been friendly and helpful, and the new building is beautiful. My earlier comment saying there was a $30-per-night GA fee wasn't accurate for my situation. I was charged a $10 landing fee plus a $7-per-night ramp fee for my Cirrus. Fuel was fair, especially given the location and full-service setup.

Good FBO and always enjoy visiting. If ever booking a rental car thru Avis, us the code "J5B" and that will tell the people at Avis over in the main terminal that you are flying into Avflight and they will deliver the car to the FBO prior to your arrival.

Flew to TVC for the cherry festival. Tower did a superb job sequencing traffic and the services at Avflight were excellent. Line personnel did an awesome job parking and fueling and the front desk workers were fine. Clean FBO and restrooms. The complimentary ice cream topped it off!
