Sheltair (KTPA)

What a shame. I called to get information about dropping off a rental car after flying in on a private jet, but he wouldn't listen. He was clearly wired to say no to everything and hung up on me in the middle of a sentence. What a shame that Sheltair is so customer-service positive.

Wow... over half a hour to get fuel with no activity and half a dozen guys on the ramp, they forget things, honestly I would have preferred a self service airport over this, made us half an hour late

Called to get costs for a single engine Beechcraft Bonanza. Facility fee $128 (waived with 40 gallons 100ll @ $7.51). Security fee $15.00. Parking $100.00/night. Clearly, they will not be receiving my patronage.

Nia, Tori, Natalia provided superb customer service and went above and beyond. They were very cordial and welcoming the instant I walked in the doorway. Fuel was brought within 5 minutes of pulling up and the GPU was complimentary. They also feature CAA so this is certainly my revised preferred FBO and airport in the Tampa area. Respectfully, DR. Don't come here! Single Engine Piston ... ended up waiting close to 45 mins just for fuel. And that was after calling 20 mins ahead. Shoulda read the comments!!! 90 bucks a night TOO!!!

I had an excellent visit here last week. I arrived on a commercial flight and their van came to collect me quickly, with no charge. Eva, the driver, was courteous and professional. The rental car was waiting on schedule, and when I left a couple days afterward, the whole process went smoothly. Fueling caused no delays, and everyone on staff was very welcoming with a great attitude. I’ve used this location before as well as others, and I find the over Sheltair culture to be great.

The charges shown are terribly wrong. For my PA32R/Lance it suggests a $48 facility charge and a $24 tie down/overnight charge both excused with 15 gallons of fuel. The actual charge is $120 facility charge and $95 overnight charge and only the facility charge is excused with 30 gallons of fuel! Sheltair stated they have no clue where ForeFlight obtained this data from.

No courtesy drinks for passengers and Crew members.
