May 1, 2025Landed at Tifton in my vintage Champ from SUN N FUN heading north. Discovered that a cowl fastener was gone! Grounded! Everyone was good! Mechanic located an old fastener (for a 1946 Champ) in the bottom of a drawer. Nancy drove me to and from a hotel. The next day, crew helped me fuel and I made it home! Highly recommend Tifton and Richter Aviation!
