Dropped in for the night in June 2026. What a great little gem. Fuel was easy to get and priced very well (100LL). The facilities were spotless and nicely maintained, and crew cars were ready to use. I’ll absolutely be stopping here again. Great work, guys.

Always a great place to stop, and the fuel is cheap. The FBO is clean and comfortable. Thanks, guys!

Ideal stop going from south to north. Some of the most affordable fuel, excellent facility that's accessible 24 hours, plus courtesy vehicles. Plenty of food close by if required. Truly one of the finest fuel stops in the Midwest

Stopped in with our RV 9 heading up to Oshkosh on a Friday afternoon. The airport looked unattended, but everything we needed was there. Self serve was a great price, and the air conditioned pilot lounge had soft drinks and snacks. Overall, a really good fuel stop when you need a quick turnaround.

Stoped overnight and fuel was cheap, but the hotel options were awful. Runway and FBO were still nice.

We selected this airport as a stop near the halfway point between our base in the DFW metro area and Lexington, Kentucky. Our experience with the first stop on 2 round trips planned late June into late July encouraged us to return, so we ended up stopping here 4 times. Fuel is fairly inexpensive as advertised, FBO is minimally staffed, typical self serve operation, ample courtesy cars and several places to dine within a 3 or 4 minute drive.

This is a superb airport. Most affordable fuel cost around at the time of this writing and correctly shows on ForeFlight. This is going to sound odd, but the hose reel for the fuel is the finest I’ve ever encountered - fine and broad so there’s ample area for the hose to wrap on without moving off the edge or becoming too dense on the reel and jamming. Also, motor to reel it in is set at the proper pace - gradual but consistent. Anyone who has done much self serve at airports knows that these small specifics make it a lot simpler, quicker, and tidier to fuel up and depart. A few other wonderful aspects about this FBO. Courtesy car keys are right there prepared to go even if nobody’s at the desk. Heaven forbid you require a first aid kit, there’s one in clear sight. The facility and restrooms are quite, quite spotless. Whoever manages this location should be truly proud.
