A shoutout to the line and counter crews at Hawthorne. They graciously threw me the keys to a crew car, with small 13gal fuel purchase. I only needed the vehicle 90 mins and made sure to fill the tank 2x more than what I consumed. Upon our return, the person working the counter directed us to the snack bar and beverage fridge (good selection btw). Then she gave my 5yr old some Hawthorne swag. He thinks he’s pretty cool in his new t-shirt. If you have a choice of airports in the area, Hawthorne will treat a Cherokee pilot like he’s filling a Gulfstream.

Flew in with Skyhawk for a $100 hamburger. Personnel was all awesome. Towed plane up front while we were gone so was close by. Courtesy car available and no charges. I suggest the stop. A fine clean building and area. Thanks
