Really good FBO, 10/10.

Overall airport is very simple in and out and cordial. Mx in hangar 1 is very helpful, fast to reply and fast to service so I valued that. However, the FBO mis-fueled my plane and did not contact me to ask questions about my fuel order. They also pulled me out of the hangar when I did not request to be pulled out. They seem disorganized with fuel receipts and fuel logs sometimes so ensure you triple check everything you request and do not assume they comprehend the first time you ask.

Parking is a free for all. There are no marshalers. Personnel is helpful and friendly. Rental cars available thru the FBO, cafe on airport has fine food. Had a Mx issue, Mx was able to look at it and get me going for a very fair price. ATC is very nice and accommodating. Lots of student training happening, plan to hold short for departure during the busy hours for a little while. Over all not a bad spot to stop.

They know how to put you in a bind . Flew in on our King Air 350 and needed to drop a crew member 10 minutes down road and return. Wouldn’t loan crew vehicle for 20 minutes due to it being within an hour and a half of closing . Offered to buy 400 gallons of fuel , be back 20 minutes prior to closing , you name it . Wouldn’t move. We fly in here regularly. Will start using SAT over SSF if we can’t get a simple logistic accommodation arranged . Even called ahead . Receptionist uninformed...

Crew car was absolutely awful. 330,000 miles looked like it had not been cleaned in 5 years. Dandruff , soil , bugs , spots , crusty windows, and trash throughout. How tough could it be to send someone to have it detailed even once every 6 months ? We are in and out of this FBO fairly regularly and might need to change to KSAT for more sanitary crew car choices !

Stayed here for around 2 weeks. Seems like just about every line guy has fueled my plane and yet they are still wrongly fueling my plane. If you're in a rush PLEASE triple check you've gotten the correct quantity of fuel. Make sure you're VERY specific with your request. Not sure why they can't contact me to ask questions about the fueling but this is the second occasion they mis-fueled me.

Good experience. Fuel truck arrived right when I landed. Very fine line guy. Appreciate the service.

Maybe a poor day? No marshaller present. No personnel outside. I go into FBO, request to be fueled and they state we are depleted. But should have some in an hour. Okay, not an issue since we are remaining several hours. We have lunch at cafe before departing airport, I check with FBO. No fuel yet. Then I tied down plane, they had accomplished NOTHING. Return to airport a few hours later, they had fueled plane, 28 gallons. No, attempt 60? I then checked tanks, full, they discovered their calculation mistake. It was 58. Below average visit.

What a good crew at this very fine FBO. Superb service and very nice people! They arranged for our rental car, and it was ready before we arrived. If you are going to the San Antonio area I highly recommend you fly in. The folks at Gate One Stinson will treat you right!

Pleasant service from the personnel, and constantly ample parking available. They even phoned me to inform me one of my plane doors had become unlocked, ahead of an approaching storm.
