July 11, 2026The FBOs are top notch, but the tower controller is easily the most rude one I've had to deal with. His instructions are unclear, and if you ask a question he'll somehow turn it into an insult. I honestly recommend the FAA listen in on live ATC and assess his professionalism.

July 7, 2026Great little airport right downtown in St Pete, with awesome bay and city views. The self-serve fuel prices are fair. One controller is excellent, but the other comes off condescending and not very professional.

May 13, 2026I stop in here pretty regularly since it’s an easy hop from KLEE. Just a heads-up, the fees recently increased from $10 to $15. There’s lots of parking on the ramp, but the run-ups for RWY07 at D1 get kind of tight if another plane is behind you. Watch your prop blast.
