Arrived for a quick 2 hour stay. One of the friendliest municipal airports and staff around. Amber at the front desk is AWESOME - friendly, helpful, gave us rental car instructions before and during. Can't say anything more - well run and friendly staff.

It’s the folks that make a fine location into a superb spot. Expert assistance is to be looked for; but it’s the considerate “anticipation “ and warmth that shines here.

Awesome service. I diverted to KSOP because of weather and stayed for a couple of hours. The personnel, especially the lady at the desk (forget her name) bend over backwards to help out. Very very helpful. The Pizza place across the runway was very fine as well.

Sunday, February 20. Called KSOP, spoke to Amber to reserve the crew car. All personnel very helpful. Recommended Pinehurst Brewery for lunch…good selection. Also strolled the town of Southern Pines…fine Sunday afternoon trip!

Been to this airport many times, good people easy going airfield. Just to give a heads up, when they say they are open everyday you can disregard Thanksgiving day. Tried calling for after hours and nothing. Also, most of the FBOs in the area close around 1500 ET. Had to go to KILM to grab fuel for my return flight.

Fantastic experience at the FBO! Brought the car out to the plane, and provided prompt, courteous service both at arrival and departure. Hertz rental car on site (reserve ahead of time). Great line crew. Hotels and shopping nearby. A fine place to base your NC trip.

Good airport for a stop over. Well equipped FBO, fine people, respectable fuel costs. Certainly will return. Rocky H.
