Stopped in for a few hours (C182) to pick someone up at LAX. Everybody was awesome. Line person got us parked and chocked fast and was very friendly. The staff at the desk was quite accommodating. Had an hour or so before needing to go to LAX so relaxed in fine pilot lounge before using the crew car for a couple hours to navigate the mess that is LAX. While gas and fees aren't the cheapest around, would not hesitate to stop in again.

Flew in for a fine NFL weekend. Called ahead to let them know I'd be coming. Very helpful and courteous personnel. Fair fees imo for T210. Looking forward to visiting this Atlantic all season long.

NOTICE: The airport sends you an additional bill for a landing fee, separate from the FBO. For a Baron it was $27.50. Unsure of singles or other airframes.

I must state I am finished with these folks at Atlantic SMO. Today, the day following the Super Bowl, they attempted to bill me $1500 to keep my Baron on the ramp for a few hours. They claimed it was since the FAA intended to limit GA in SoCal during the Super Bowl. All of the NOTAMs for the Super Bowl expired at 2030 PST the evening before. There were no SB or any other NOTAMs for Monday. I taxied across the runway and utilized transient parking at no cost. I have consistently used them previously, I visit around 2-4 times annually. Restrooms in the admin facility are tidy and properly kept.

Good service. Worth topping off with costly gas to waive the $40 facility charge. $30 to have the bird there overnight though...

I actually just now (Oct 2024) received a bill from Vector for a charge from May 2018. Obviously I am requesting clarification. I am not even sure such fees were disclosed at the time.

Good airport: accommodating controllers, simple pattern and fine service from Atlantic. Fuel is costly but no other fees aside from a Hamilton for security. Free crew car for 2 hrs as well. NIMBY'ers can go elsewhere, KSMO will stay. I will return!

Very welcoming personnel. Forgot to call ahead of time but the line crew was ready to marshal us in. Wish they had wingwalkers though. Got parked between 2 planes and with our wide wingspan, it would’ve been pleasant to have the assurance of wingwalkers to confirm we had adequate wingtip clearance. Overall fine experience.
