Nothing but good things to say about overnight stop at SLR. Christie was super nice and helpful in arranging use of a crew car and the facilities were fine and clean all around. Inexpensive fuel and plenty of ramp parking. Thank you. Russ C.

I arrived late in the afternoon in need of transportation to a hotel for the evening. There is no Uber or taxi in town according to the hotel. I was able to contact the manager, Joey, who made a late model crew car available for the evening. A pleasant experience.

Got stranded there last evening when our Mooney would not start after getting fuel. The mechanic on the field picked up his phone at 8pm, arrived right up to attempt to assist and, when we determined it would need to wait for daylight, he put us in touch with the airport manager who also arrived right up and provided us a brand new courtesy car for overnight. Together they were very helpful, even late in the evening and requested nothing in exchange (we left some cash, but still). Mechanic got us airborne first thing the following morning and our tanks were full with fairly priced gas. Thank you again!

Good place to stop & overnight! Uber friendly & very helpful! Clean FBO & the fuel prices are very very good. Full service (except no lav cart) Hangar space is extremely limited so plan accordingly. We had a rental car from enterprise, could not get ahold of them to have it dropped off at the airport, SO, they told us to use a crew car to get it and to drop it off! Fine small city, has most all you could need/want. Stayed 2 nights. Will post that on trip advisor. Thanks Cristie!

We didn’t have a good experience here. The lobby was big and had board games for the kids while we waited out weather. The sole employee didn’t leave the office till I stuck my head in there and asked for fuel. I didn’t need gas but was going to get 25 gallons to support them but you could tell she really didn’t want to leave her office and cell phone.
