Atlantic Aviation (KSCK)

While practicing approaches into Stockton last Tuesday, we ducked into Atlantic for a quick potty stop. Two days afterward, the flying club received a $60 bill for facility and security fees. Nobody said anything about being charged for a potty break while we were there. So if you aren't buying fuel, watch out. The fees will be excessive. Ugh.

Over $1000 facility fee for a citation sovereign. These monopoly FBOs are getting out of control. The county needs to step in and mandate competition on the field. They raised their fuel minimums and gas is $3 a gallon more than our home base so still cheaper than buying their gas.

We showed up late and everything was closed. Last guy on the field at Atlantic helped us out and gave us a ride to hotel in his own car. It is good to meet people that enjoy what they are doing and care.

Last minute choice to launch so we had not called ahead, but the personnel was good! They made a hotel reservation close by with local understanding after we arrived and even gave us a lift. Newly remodeled FBO with fine service!

Ramp fees are way outta line! Heads up.

Good personnel, extremely cordial and supportive!

Very fine amenities and line personnel. But they will assess you charges even for a restroom stop, in any size plane. Better to phone ahead and verify what you are going to spend.

$450 for a drop off? In a King Air 350? In Stockton CA...?

Outstanding, welcoming service at Atlantic. Waived the landing charge even though my little RV tank could not quite take the standard minimum fuel purchase (i think i was 12 gal fuel bought with 14 being the light single threshold so YMMV). Good people on the line and the counter. Stockton was a good stop on the way down the Central Valley!

Stopped for the day for business. Even though we were in a lowly 182 the staff and manager Joe treated us fine. We will return.
