June 29, 2026I’ve run into an odd problem with the pilot-controlled lighting at KRXE. Pressing the TX button on my yoke doesn’t activate it, though the hand mic and portable radio both work fine. I’m pretty sure it’s something in my own setup, but since this hasn’t occurred at any other airport, I figured it was worth mentioning here.

March 8, 2026The big cracks have been patched up again, so it’s much better now. Friendly folks, and a courtesy car is available.

September 28, 2024Good airport and overnight stop on a long cross country. The fellows at the FBO were fantastic! Let us use the courtesy car for an extended time. Good airport, good people. We shall return.
