Vesper Aviation at Renton Municipal Pilot ReviewsOverall Rating:

The good - new owners appear to be superior at locating ramp area and time to service light GA planes. The bad - line personnel left one of my fuel caps incorrectly secured (gasket not aligned and pushed out from under the cap), failed to notice/report this, and management did not even make an effort to respond when i contacted them to mention the mistake.

New ownership has taken over from previous company and it's completely revamping the entire operation. Amazing new facilities, very modest charges, ample car parking. Both Gabby and Sammie are doing a wonderful job. Highly recommend stopping by for any of your GA needs compared to BFI/PAE.

Overnight tie down rate changed to $30 a night. Diane said they’ve entered the busy season. I can’t complain about my two night visit though, it worked out fine for me.

I spent a week on their ramp while in town for some instruction and business. I called ahead to confirm ramp area and reserve a car from Enterprise. They met us at the plane, were fast with fuel service and had a very cordial staff. Some of the ramp fees were waived with fuel purchase. Clean FBO and obviously making upgrades. I'll be back for certain.

Call ahead, because their ramp is small. Service is odd. If they are not extremely busy, they are very fine, but it appears like they are under staffed. Also, the FBO only opens at 10am, which is quite bothersome, if you need to depart early. Most FBOs are open at 6am. Don't land in KBFI by mistake. It is very close.

Fine airport, but you must know Seattle airspace is quite busy, and RNT has much plane instruction. Also, RNT is packed with B-737’s awaiting maintenance. You definitely need to call in advance and secure a tie down spot. Proflight will try their hardest to assist you. Good folks, but if you show up unannounced, locating a tie down might be hard. I was fortunate. My subsequent flight is a month away, and I already possess a reservation!

Worst front desk service I have encountered at an FBO. Brought in a load of rescue dogs through Pilots-n-Paws to local rescues and did not call ahead since there were no NOTAMS or directions to do so in publications. This failure to call ahead resulted in me getting a lecture from the woman at the front desk about what a burden transient pilots/planes are and when I pointed out the lack of a NOTAM or other requirement was told “it’s always busy here”. She would not permit the rescue dogs to walk thru the FBO to get to their rescuers cars. After spending $600 on fuel and being there about an hour I sat down in the lobby to file a flight plan and was told to go to the pilot planning room. All of this was done as if rude behavior is completely standard. The one bright side was the young man who refueled my airplane was courteous and quick. I will never patronize Pro-Flight Aviation at KRNT again.
