Simple in and out, tidy facilities & I am not sure where more affordable fuel is within several states! If you are IFR you will need to obtain your clearance by phone or Longview Approach will assist you airborne. No local Clearance Delivery on the ground. It would be a fine value addition.

Flew in one evening for fuel. REALLY good price! Very well lit runway. Everything looks newly finished. Keep in mind if flying in at night, only 17/35 has lights, at the moment. Certainly keeping this location on the radar for fuel stops going forward

This was meant to be a fuel stop along the route, but the weather had different ideas. After landing, a harsh storm came thru and kept us on the ground. Flight Services informed me weather ahead was severe. We finished grounded for four days until the weather cleared. Alexa, the lady at the FBO was a superb host. Suggested lodging and some activities to do while we waited out the harsh weather. I strongly suggest this as a stop along your path. Extra, fuel costs cannot be surpassed.

The finest fuel cost in the area and tidy amenities. RWY 30/12 is somewhat uneven compared to the primary runway 35/17 but do not hesitate to utilize it.

There are two courtesy cars now. Always in fine working order. Not top class or anything. You can call ahead a couple days in advance to set reservations on the cars otherwise they are first come first serve. There’s not much in town but there are a few good eateries. Tia Jaunita’s is a good go to!

Having access to a courtesy car on weekends when no one is present would be a fine benefit. Otherwise this is an incredible stop for fuel! Building was open with spotless bathrooms and the honor system snacks were a lifesaver. Thank you so much for the wonderful fuel prices!
