University of Central Missouri Skyhaven Airport (KRCM)

My experience was absolutely excellent. I called in advance, and as we came in they confirmed that fuel was needed. After we shut down, they were already prepared to fuel us before we even got out. We topped off, and the ticket was waiting before we were done with the really nice facilities. Thanks to everyone for the quick turnaround. Highly recommended.

Quickest fill up I have ever had. The truck was there before we got chocked. There is a new terminal building - quite impressive with pilot shower and all. Still working on having internet available for non-students of the school.

Fuel costs are around typical here. The line crew is quite helpful wanting to assist you. The sole issue is that they are not arranged for the general public. The “office” is a small building and one of the staff members behind the counter needed to guide me to where the restrooms were located. I believe we might have become disoriented otherwise. This airport is owned and run by the University. I would estimate that 90% of their sales are to the University.

Big shout out to Justin! I flew in to visit family and, once I shut down, I was сразу met with aircraft tie downs and great service. Solid FBO if you need a lil Midwest stop!

Reference skyhaven-pilots.com. This University FBO doesn't care about GA, only their flight school program. Expect slow to no fuel service, overpriced. No jet fuel ever. No ropes for tie downs. No crew car. Not recommended for anyone.

Landed today to collect a passenger and head back out quickly. Son and Hannah had the fuel truck there before I cut the engine! They gave me a ride to and from the FBO and were kind and helpful. I enjoyed hearing about the new terminal being built. Makes sense, seems like a thriving university program using the field. Pleasant stop, will be back!

Airport manager was unable to tell me when my plane would be fueled. The airport manager did not seem to know anything about the airport he was managing. There were no tie downs supplied. It took over 3 hours to get my aircraft fueled. The line service crew is extremely helpful but have weak leadership.
