July 26, 2025Self proclaimed "Most Beautiful" airport in the world. That is not incorrect. Personnel is helpful, just recall it is a small town and not a "signature FBO". If it is your first visit, prepare for VFR with good visibility. Fine long runway to fight the density altitude.

February 20, 2023Another President’s Day weekend managed with Grace by the crew at AvJet. Runway in superb shape! Truck fuel at SS prices when in the hangar -- (reservations suggested) Good access to my favorite spot on earth. Thanks for making it simple.

Noise Abatement: Runway 19 is Stevens Field preferred landing runway for noise abatement. The Stevens field prevailing wind is from the south which also supports landings on runway 19. Stevens field asks that all aircraft use the full length of the runway for take off, and that during departure, aircraft climb at best rate to at least 1000 AGL, making a reduction in power as soon as safely possible. When runway 19 departures leave airport property a left turn to the south east will take aircraft around Stevens Field most sensitive noise area directly south of runway 19. Stevens Field recommends that arrivals delay descent to pattern altitude until necessary then use a standard left hand traffic pattern. Safety is Stevens Field first priority and nothing in this policy is meant to override safety of flight.

Taxiway b closed to aircraft 12500 lbs & over.
Traffic Pattern Altitude: Tpa 1000 ft AGL for prop aircraft and 1500 ft AGL for jet aircraft.
