October 19, 2025We were greeted when we arrived with a tie down and fuel service before we left the following morning. Good airport to land at for fuel and they had a crew car available for us to get to a hotel.

October 3, 2025I needed to drop in here due to weather. Friendly folks! I took the crew car into town for lunch to let the storms pass.

June 7, 2025A/FD states closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Came in on 4th of July and discovered they were boarded up tight. Note on the door saying closed on the 4th. Needed fuel and a VA passport stamp. At the very least they should have NOTAM'd out that fuel wasn't obtainable on the 4th like some other airports. Call ahead on a holiday. Would be good if the stamp were left somewhere for pilots to find.

Runway 06 obstruction close in: 10 ft road 100 ft from threshold on centerlines (svc road).
