City of Poplar Bluff (KPOF)

We diverted to KPOF because of the bad weather. Even though we arrived as an unannounced stop, the staff were friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. The fuel truck topped us off right away, and they had us in a hangar before the storm came through. Plenty of overnight crew cars were available, and recommending the Holiday Inn-with the Italian restaurant attached-was a great call for our stay.

Fantastic little stop! I pulled up to the pump, and the guy told me not to worry about it before going to fetch the truck for me. Golf cart escorts, friendly folks, and good conversation too. FBO & bathrooms available 24/7. Thanks for keeping GA flying accessible and enjoyable!

Stopped in today just to stretch and consume my lunch. Did not require fuel, but wow...prices are GOOD! Super welcoming FBO personnel and a fine clean area. Large comfortable couches if you get stuck. Looks as if they had a couple of crew vehicles. Runway in good shape and ample ramp area.

S/S and F/S are now the same cost. What a bargain. Thanks for the inexpensive fuel and good service!

Stopped in recently for fuel and chose to stay overnight. The staff hung around late to help us get sorted out, arranging a crew car, hotel, and restaurant suggestions. Unfortunately, we ended up with a flat tire at the hotel. The following morning Jason came over, picked us up, and drove us back to the airport in time for our scheduled 0800 departure. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this as a great fuel or overnight stop.

Good FBO and fine people. They're very cordial, supportive and have all things you require. They permitted us to take the crew vehicle overnight and put our plane in the hangar for our two night stay. Fuel was inexpensive and they have enjoyable games at the FBO to play! I like the airport and shall return next occasion.

Good people and the cost for full service fuel is unbeatable!

Good fuel costs and they were very willing to supply a crew car for driving into town for lunch. Ate at Myrtles and had the "Local Yolkal." All fine!

We stopped here as our midway point. The full service price for 100LL was $.75 LESS than the self-serve price! The two men at the airport explained the price was LOWER for full service so they could keep busy! We could not believe it, but enjoyed it just the same. Very clean FBO with a courtesy car. They recommended a local restaurant, The Fishing Pig. Superb food at a reasonable cost. The place was packed with locals so we knew it had to be good. Highly recommend visiting KPOF and The Fishing Pig.
