St. Clair County Airport Authority at St. Clair County Pilot ReviewsOverall Rating:

I really like this airport. Their pricing is very GA friendly, and the self-serve fuel has worked perfectly every time I've stopped in. I've used this airport for 25 years now, and they've consistently been great! Yeah it's lightly staffed, but they really do make it easy to get whatever you need. The building isn't locked up, the bathrooms stay clean, snacks and drinks are there, fuel prices are reasonable, and if you buy gas they don't even charge for parking. What else do you really need from an airport? It's great!

Not a fine spot to stop for fuel. Not supportive. Self serve functioned alright, however.

After hours stop. Good stop, pay at pump works fine. Snacks made my wife and son pleased.

FBO opens at 11AM on Sundays. There is self serve 24/7 100LL pump with a credit card reader and there is access to the washrooms using the CTAF on the key pad. Fine cost on self serve fuel with a 3% fee for using a Credit Card. I will stop once more there for fuel.

Flew in early before the FBO opened. They truly went out of their way to assist me with courtesy car and a local errand I needed to complete. Old school hospitality and very much valued! I look forward to stopping in again.

Stopped here unexpectedly because of weather. No one was around (holiday weekend), but everything was open and the courtesy car keys were sitting in the pilot lounge. If you stop in, I'd suggest The Ark.

I stopped in after hours for fuel, then decided to rest since it was late. The cypher lock to the FBO is all five digits of the UNICOM, which nearly got me. I'm accustomed to only four. Had everything needed for an unplanned overnight. Coffee for self making in the morning, and left a donation in the jar for the hospitality.

Make certain to review the sign to the left of the card reader. You must push a red button to commence the avgas pump.

FBO is not open on Sundays. Very friendly, accommodating staff!
