April 22, 2025FBO fine, with simple self service fuel. Tie down fees were steep at $25 per night for my RV-10, with one night free with gas purchase.

September 7, 2023Stopped in to clear customs. Fuel was quite handy and the personnel were very helpful. Make certain to phone ahead for customs and find out if they have any ferries to attend as this might postpone their arrival

August 5, 2023Diverted here to avoid storms on the way to Airventure. Got fueled up and debated whether to try and go around the storms. Clay, at the desk, mentioned two hotels within walking distance to the FBO, and fine Mexican restaurant next to them. That, fatigue, offering to get tucked inside the hangar ($95), and use of the crew car overnight convinced us to spend the night. It’s a well run operation, and Clay and the staff went out of their way to help us.

August 17, 2022Fine facility with super pleasant and useful personnel. Lots of parking with tie down ropes supplied. Ramp is in good clean shape with good markings, however note some taxiways could use a little attention so keep your eyes open for rough spots. 100LL and JetA available self or full service with easy access to pumps on the southwest edge of the ramp near the customs building. Flew in for a last minute day trip to nearby Cedar Point and staff set us up quickly with a rental car through State Auto for the day (about same price as Uber (if you can even get one) or taxi, and much more flexible). Vending and free popcorn in the lobby for the kids while getting all the paperwork taken care of and picking up the car 5 minutes down the road. Rental agency allowed us to leave the car at FBO upon our return since it was after hours, which was very convenient and helpful when traveling with young family. Facilities fee waived with fuel purchase. Overall good service, super pleasant folks, a

October 25, 2025Visited to see the museum and have lunch at the diner. Both are very fine. Most of the planes and vehicles still run! The museum folks are happy to talk and answer queries. We crossed to the FBO for self serve fuel - good rates!

December 3, 2024Parked overnight on the ramp. There was a $25/night fee for parking. Did not need to use any services from the FBO. When heading out the following day, heavy snow came in before I could depart. The charter company offered to park my plane in the hangar for free for a few hours, while I wait out the snow, so I do not have to worry about a snow covered plane!

August 6, 2023Doc Flew with another adult and two kids for the July 4th weekend. Fine facility. Tie down fees for a C182 was $25/night. Ramp fee waived with fuel purchase. I thought they had topped me off when I landed but when I did my sump for preflight there was one sump with no fuel. Found out there was no ticket thus no fuel. Dennis was was very nice and quick to respond and fueled me up for the 4th and waived one of my overnight fees. Good conversation with him about R&R etc. Overall good experience and would suggest if your looking to go to Cedar Point Resort with the family. State Auto rental was great and close. Car was ready when I landed.

June 29, 2022Good airport. Made our visit simple by having the rental car arranged for after hours pickup.
