Rossi Aircraft Inc. (KPAO)

Rossi is selling UL94 now.

I arrived and called Rossi on the phone for a fuel truck to come fill me with Jet A+ in transient parking. First time, nobody answered. Second try, somebody picked up the line and immediately hung up. I waited 5 minutes and called again. This time, someone answered in an exasperated tone, "Yeah?" I told them the type aircraft and location. They sounded irritated that I wanted jet fuel. He said there were several other planes he had to fuel first. I had a 2-hour window. He never showed up. :(

I expected an FBO with an actual lobby and someone at a front desk who could help. This business is not that. I spent 15 minutes walking around trying to find assistance, then finally went through the "employees only" door to ask whether somebody could fill a portable O2 bottle. They said they could, but everyone had already sat down for lunch and would be pretty unhappy if it got interrupted. Could I come back later? No thank you.

I was in Palo Alto on Thanksgiving in a Saratoga and drained the battery. The owner/manager of Rossi was there to save the day and give me a jump. Not only that, but gave me some superb suggestions that I will not quickly forget. Thanks so much, you saved my holiday!
