Cool airport, fine scenery, friendly personnel at the FBO. When you make your initial traffic call, there's an old timer who often administers a lengthy weather briefing and traffic report over the CTAF frequency. He's transmitting from the bottom of a valley and doesn't really seem to grasp he's stepping on a bunch of other CTAF transmissions on 122.8. Grin and bear it.

Cool views and approch. For some reason was not able to pickup weather at 10nm distance.

Elite Service at FBO. Paul was a huge help with fuel and gave a weather briefing upon initial contact on CTAF. Friendly banter within the FBO while taking a break on long trip. Will visit again!
