Good FBO. Spotless and truly welcoming personnel. Under one mile from central McCall. My spouse and I landed there and walked into town for breakfast.

Everything and everyone at Dew Aviation (the maintenance shop) was outstanding and incredibly helpful. McCall aviation (the primary FBO) has some serious problems. When I arrived I had some maintenance issues requiring an overnight stay, I was even offered free hangar space. When I came back to retrieve my plane from service the manager John decided to come out and add a $150 a night fee to the previous "no charge" hangar space. Avoid this business at all costs.

Good people at McCall Aviation. The airport gets busier and busier every year and they still do a fine job while maintaining a small resort town level of service and feel. Idaho Aviation Association has a good loaner bike garage at the airport and it is not a hard ride into the heart of town right down in the water.

Hands down the rudest customer service I’ve ever encountered — woman who seemed to run the facility went well out of her way to come out to my plane and attack me personally and professionally in front of a passenger after I politely pointed out that they really needed to update their online fuel costs when the self serve was almost a dollar more than advertised and their phones didn’t work to confirm the cost any other way (which she also seemed to think wasn’t her issue). I was in shock at her conduct and frankly couldn’t believe anyone would act so badly in that situation. Before the harassment she had actually acknowledged my worry and said she would update the costs immediately but a couple days later they still aren’t updated (anywhere) to reflect the true costs. They clearly don’t want your business, so I would suggest avoiding giving it to them at all expense.

Good self service fuel farm. Clean FBO and restrooms close by. Good fuel stop.

They are not clear on charges. Asked for ride to town and they offered to come and meet me after hours for a small fee. Then offered to hangar my plane. Again not mentioning any charges. Got $800 bill. When I complained they reduced to $300. Check and confirm their charges on everything.

As good as it gets! Had a tough day in the mountains made much simpler with the outstanding assistance the people at McCall Aviation have given me. Totally exceptional.
