Blue Ridge Airport (KMTV)

Southern hospitality at its best. A straightforward, well-kept airport, with an airport manager who has put this field on my list for frequent visits. Jason was an excellent manager, packed with aviation and local knowledge, and he made my family and me feel completely welcome.

Came in for lunch with the crew out of KAKH. Simply Suzanne's Cafe is outstanding. Jason Davis, the FBO manager, will look after you. An excellent experience from start to finish. We'll definitely be back.

Stopped in briefly to get fuel. The airport was really quiet, peaceful, and kept up well. I'd definitely recommend it for a stop en route. Easy getting in and out.

Stopped by again and it's still a good spot. We just did a fast turn. They have a fine fueling facility that pumps quick. The facilities inside are fine too. There is a restaurant that looks good but did not have time to consume a meal.

Good fuel prices. Nice restaurant, with good food and service.

Stopped by to top off the tanks. The pump is still quick, the folks are friendly, and the facilities are clean. You can also pick up your GSO clearance on the ground just like they advertise. Still one of our go-to stops.

A great place to stop-and not only for the fuel price, which I’d call secondary! Friendly people, a cozy atmosphere, and a good restaurant. It’s my favorite stop when flying north.

Ran into the airport manager, and he seemed like a really good guy. The restrooms were in decent shape. I'd still call it a 7/10. Nothing really jumped out, but everything was clean and looked well kept.

Stopped in for fuel 45 minutes before closing time on a Saturday afternoon but personnel were friendly and facility was tidy! Parked at the self serve pump for a fast gas and go and 2 FBO Staff members came out to assist and chat. My ONLY issue was I arrived After the eatery closed - strongly suggest this airport for a fuel stop and a snack!
