Martin State FBO at Martin State Pilot ReviewsOverall Rating:

March 3, 2026There's a $23 handling fee for a single-engine piston. No courtesy cars either, and even buying fuel won't knock the fee off. Besides that, it's an easy, calm airport close to Baltimore.

January 17, 2026No crew cars. FBO personnel was not keen to assist escort vehicle with travelers to ramp. Parking on lower level, FBO on second floor. No lift. I do not observe how this is ADA compliant.

November 24, 2023Aria and Wendy at the FBO were OUTSTANDING! They assisted with arranging Hertz rental, and helped transport some baggage. Well done!

April 23, 2023Not a location I would visit….self park no assistance…states hangars but none exist. All the negative items below are accurate.

November 12, 2021Unfortunately I encountered a hostile lineman here when I exited my plane. I shutdown in the wrong area -- simple to fix -- but his aggression was unsuitable. Will avoid.

January 18, 2026Just called for handling fees and was quoted a handling fee of $375 and a landing fee of $36 for a Cessna 414 or put on 170 gal. That is totally out of reason!! Even BWI is only $150 including landing, infrastructure and handling with no fuel purchase. Guess I've made my last flight into Martin State.

December 2, 2023Flew into KMTN today for the first time today flying a dog rescue and the personnel couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. The receptionist in the FBO was super kind and friendly and assisted us quickly get fuel and turned around to get back home. Refueling staff was very professional and prompt, and overall the people were very helpful. Tower controller was amazing and super calm, and made landing with heavy traffic a breeze!! Would happily return to MTN again!!

November 23, 2023I got the feeling they did not care about repeat business. I won't claim it was terrible service, but nobody was going to do much unless we inquired.

December 22, 2021Ubers not permitted on ramp. No lift up steps. The facility is from the 1970s. Gas is less expensive than bwi but if you are just making a brief stop, pay the added fuel. It is that poor. Run by state of Maryland
