February 19, 2026Really nice place to fly into. The campsite is solid, the bathhouse works, and each spot has power. There were deer everywhere on and around the runway. Fuel was on hand and cheap. It’s supposed to be part of the state park, but the management acted like we were a nuisance today. The first day the lodge sent somebody over to pick us up (10 minute drive with no walking trails), but today they said it’d be another $25 for the shuttle even after we paid to camp and bought fuel. I doubt we’ll be going back.

August 5, 2025Runway is a bit bumpy, fuel doesn't work, but strip is fine to visit to stay at Mather Lodge. No cell service (TMobile), so arrange the shuttle before you arrive there. Mather Lodge is good... Tie downs is a steel cable on an incline... Comanche 260B
