Landed my Cirrus a month ago for a wedding. Signature was amazing. I stayed roughly a week. A month later got an invoice from a 3rd party vendor billing me (via ADS-B) showing KMOB as the airport. No clarification was provided on the invoice or what the charges were for???? I thought it was SPAM…

C182. Landed 7/24/2025 unexpected stop due to weather. Line staff marshaled me in and immediately began fueling. Front desk was friendly. Good coffee machine and many snacks available. Desk waived the handling and $36 infrastructure fee since we had stopped for WX. Clean bathrooms and comfy chairs-would gladly return.

I flew in on 5/26/22 for a couple of nights in Mobile. The lineman marshaled us in and then asked if we needed anything. He also helped unload bags and carry them in to the FBO. The whole staff was super polite and accommodating. They drove loll us over to the terminal to pick up our rental car when National wouldn’t pick up the phone. When we returned a few days later they offered to call National to come get the vehicle and even gave us a discount on the fuel purchase for the plane. I can’t say enough about this group. They were more than I expected and much better than most signature locations.

Effective May 1, 2025, the Mobile Airport Authority (not Signature) is collecting landing fees from transient aircraft based on the weight of the aircraft: https://www.mobileairportauthority.com/uploads/landing-fees-document.pdf This works out to be roughly $15 for a Bonanza sized aircraft at KMOB.

Landed for food in Mobile. $30 "Handling Fee" + $8 "Infrastructure Fee" for my RV-12 on the ground 2 hours (that I chalked myself) is absurd. And yes, I did top-off fuel. Will not return.

Stopped in on 9/25/22 for avionics work by Coastal Winds starting the next day. Line service staff was good and put us in the hangar for the overnight stay as soon as I was done with closing up the bird. Good experience all the way around with Signature and Coastal Winds. We will be stopping here again anytime we’re flying into the Mobile area.

Was greeted with a friendly FBO staff Monday night as well as Tuesday morning when I left. Signature sometimes gets a poor standing but when I am in the area, I will certainly stop again!
