Here's one more post about how wonderful Monroe County and the airport director Tom are. I arrived quite late yesterday evening to leave my plane for annual inspection. It was around 730 but Tom was still at the FBO. He assisted me with a couple of matters that he had absolutely no duty to handle nor what I would even anticipate. I reside roughly an hour away and eagerly await the subsequent pancake breakfast so I can chat a bit with Tom. Good airport, fine FBO and as you can observe fine fuel costs.

Good airport and ramp. Tom, the airport manager, is outstanding. He even went into town to purchase us tie-down straps for an approaching line of bad weather. Fine fuel price also. Shall return. Rob and Kathy Haynes

Had a tire blow on the taxiway and Chris had me up and away in an hour flat. Superb, superb service and turned what could have been a more difficult situation, finding my way back home, plane stuck at airport for a few days, etc, into a non-issue. I couldn’t be more happy with the service and the fine people who run this airfield. So thankful that my little incident occurred here, and I highly suggest you come for a visit - though hopefully yours is uneventful

We diverted to MNV with a failed vac pump. Chris had us ready to go in 2 hrs. VERY reasonable cost. Fuel works fine and good price. The guys hanging in the lounge made us feel at home. Hot coffee and donuts. The manager Tom is very helpful and quite a historian on the area. We are very pleased and would recommend this airport. Brenton P.

They possess what you require and are quite supportive. Stopped in on my flight from 3G3 to DTS...we shall be stopping in again on the way back home. Thank you for your low gas costs!

Good airport! We always utilize it as our bathroom/fuel stop on our route to Florida. By far the most welcoming and hospitable people we have found at any airport. Allowed us to use the courtesy car overnight to get back-and-forth to the hotel. Airport looks fine they’ve just done a large amount of improvements…!

Flew here to check out The Lost Sea (highly recommend), have some lunch and refuel. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Tom who offered a crew car to use. This airport is very fine and so are the folks who operate it. Will return here again.

Good Airport, I have been here many times and it has always been a delight! Borrow the courtesy van and go to Donna’s restaurant in downtown for some really fine southern cooking!
