My spouse and I flew to KMKS to collect our daughter and spend a few days in Vermont enjoying the autumn colors. The personnel at KMKS were good to us and even though they only have self serve Jet A, they fueled our Vision Jet twice in bad weather making our journey smooth. Fine personnel, fine service and fine individuals. Thank you!!!

Wonderful spot. Stopped en route from Lynchburg VA to Florida after a rough journey. The gentlemen gave me some water, towed my Cessna 172 to fuel, and helped with fueling. A fine place to take a rest between legs.

Good airport. Had an alternator issue one Sunday morning and stopped over to see if it was something simple. Turned out it was the alternator but staff got in touch with mechanic on the field and he came to check it out on Sunday. Airport staff took fine care of us while we were there for about 4 hours. Clean facility nice restrooms and good pilots lounge. I will be stopping anytime in the area. Fuel prices very good too!

Good stop. Assisted self serve. Fine price for the area. Cold water on a hot summer day and a super welcoming personnel. Fine and tidy facilities too.

Want a stop with a family feel? Stop at this place. These folks are wonderful. I come here frequently and always look forward to it.

Fine new runway. Not certain what the purpose of self serve fuel is if it is the identical price as full service. Certainly not what is occurring in the remainder of the industry. Suppose that is what happens when Charleston County takes over a neighboring county's airport. Otherwise good facilities and nice folks.

Fantastic experience. I was greeted by a very fine lady with a bottle of cool water. Had to wait a few minutes with refueling. 2 gentleman towed my plane to the pump and did all the work. We also had a very fine and helpful chat about the high temperatures. Thank you very much for the good and friendly service!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the fine long runway to the superb attention given by Bo at the FBO. While we were on the approach to the runway, Bo came on the CTAF and advised altimeter setting and wind. I have never had a non towered airport give me such critical information while landing. Upon landing, Bo met us outside and tied our plane down. Fuel price, which is the same for self and full, is the cheapest in the area. And only a $5 overnight fee. Much better than the fees you will pay at KCHS or KJZI. Bo had the plane fully fueled when I returned. And right when I started to move from my spot, he again advised wind and altimeter. This is by far the greatest FBO I have ever dealt with. And Bo, give that man a raise. At least in comparison to any other FBO, he truly goes above and beyond any expectation I had. Will definitely make this my airport of choice anytime I am in the Charleston area. williamwminor
