May 13, 2026Another fantastic experience, flying in from west Michigan and spending a few days in Morgantown visiting family. As soon as I switched to tower, everyone was very helpful, including the staff member who helped me get going with my new hand held radio. They fueled the plane, tied it down, and gave me a ride to the FBO. There was a problem with my car rental not being dropped off as requested, and they called for me. When it was time to leave, they pulled the tie downs and helped me with my bags. Really can't say enough good things about KMGW!

April 29, 2026Called in advance and flew over for my xc. The FBO staff were REALLY awesome! They parked me directly across from the FBO, and I hung around for a few mins. Tower was very accommodating. I’ll definitely go again. No fees were charged since I was under 5000lbs.

December 24, 2025Don't even bother coming in the winter, the airport is shut down all the time for snow removal, and the FBO is short staffed and overworked, to say the least. Don't try tipping the Mgr either, the airport keeps an eye out for that and has already fired one good line guy, and several others have quit because of that and other problems.
