Flew into the airport on a very windy weekend in May. The crew could not have been more hospitable. Found room in a hanger for our plane and just so happened to have their annual fly in breakfast that weekend. We figured there would be 20-30 people there...more like 1200. Good place, we will be back!!

Awesome team. Bought a plane based here. Needed CFI and CFII time and they were friendly and professional (Brody and Lane) and very flexible to meet our timelines and weather constraints. Fuel was quick and thorough. And mechanic jumped on a door issue and solved the problem. Well done NIAS!

This was a fuel stop and I requested a "quick turn" to stay ahead of the weather. The line service was superb again! The only negative aspect was that I wish we could have stayed longer for lunch!

Stopped for lunch at Avion Azul. I would highly suggest the restaurant and the FBO. The “manager” of the commercial terminal was extremely unprofessional and down right nasty. We pulled in and parked at a painted T spot with tie downs next to the building with the restaurant. There were no other planes around. No commercial traffic. We parked outside the red marked area as per the airport diagram. As we were walking in for lunch, we were met by a hateful woman who expected us to know we couldn’t park in a designated GA spot. It was outside the red commercial area, and had GA tie downs. I doubt United is tying a regional jet in a T spot. She said we weren’t allowed there and that was the old FBO. So we moved maybe 200ft to the new FBO and were met by extremely kind staff who apologized for her behavior as apparently this is her MO with GA traffic. We had a wonderful meal and departed. At no time while we were there, did a single vehicle come or go from the commercial terminal. The

Had a good experience at North Iowa Air Service! The personnel was extremely cordial and helpful they were right out to assist as soon as we showed up. Superb service all around!

Jason Miller was amazing. Landed on Thursday in 40 deg weather. By Monday's departure, -15 with 30 mph winds. Plane was an ice cube. Jason rearranged the entire hanger to get my plane in for an hour pre warm. Tires needed some air due to the cold and he filled them, fueled it up, and even pushed us out while we settled into the cockpit. Kept us from freezing our fingers off. Thanks Jason, you're the best!!!

Stopped by to get tacos at Avion Azul-AMAZING. FBO personnel guided me in from the taxi way and got me parked. Simple in and out!

Stopped for fuel on our way home. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. The restaurant has good food. We will stop again!

This FBO is about as family friendly as it gets. Rental cars and courtesy cars are available. (the rental company will bring it out!) The Avion Azul restaurant is amazing, and this FBO also offers flight training, and charter flights. Cordial staff to help accommodate anything you need. This is also “Where the music died”, so it has some cool history attached as well.

Super friendly folks here. They make one feel welcome. They are happy to assist. The Mexican restaurant in the terminal is really quite fine.
