Hands down one of the finest FBOs in Texas to stop in. Personnel is good and prepared to assist in any way possible. Good rates and still feels like the old school airports of the general aviation glory days! Fine courtesy cars (with working air conditioning) and nice clean restrooms and facilities for checkrides or aircraft meetings.

Excellent FBO with good fuel costs. Fly in and grab a courtesy car to head to the Decatur square. Trinity Street And State St are fine local places to eat, or head to Primos Taqueria for some amazing breakfast or lunch tacos.

One of the finest experiences you will have at an FBO. Larry, Fabio and the team are always exceptionally cordial and supportive...not only to work with but they are also truly good folks. Courtesy car is available, fuel costs are always sensible, FBO is tidy and handy, and the food nearby in town is superb. Highly suggested!!

Decatur Jet Center and more specifically Fabio (FBO President)/Mike Humphrey & Team (Mechanic) have been MORE helpful than I could ever could have anticipated during my four days spent in Decatur unexpectedly. I had an alternator failure while passing thru the area and had to land at KLUD to assess the issue which led me to staying grounded for four days while I had a new alternator shipped in and installed. Fabio went very much above and beyond to make my stay smooth by assisting me with maintenance coordination, making sure he made space for my plane in the hangar and more. There were no rental cars available in the town at all so he was kind enough to let me take one of the courtesy cars for the entire time I was in town. Mike and his team of mechanics stopped everything they were doing the day I landed to look into the problem with my team and spent the rest of that day dealing with my problem. I landed late on Friday so once we figured out I needed a new alternator my company shipped it out first thing Saturday but the earliest it could be received was that following Monday. As soon as the shipment arrived Mike and his team once again stopped what they were doing and made sure I was taken care of as soon as possible. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a stop at this airport/FBO if in the area, consummate professionals and incredibly friendly!!
