Chicago Romeoville Lewis University Airport (KLOT)

Never reserve or rent a car from Avis or Budget, under any circumstance. More than once they’ve confirmed my reservation, then had zero cars available and only told me about it 30 minutes after I got there. Uber will get you moving quicker, or arrange ahead of time for Enterprise delivery. The line staff is fantastic.

Good FBO. Very welcoming. Fine interaction. Provided me with a canopy overnight for my 172 at zero cost. Good experience.

Another good visit to this FBO! I lost my heat in my SR22T over Des Moines and Ryan was very helpful getting me a mechanic on a holiday to come and fix it prior to my departing. Hangar space is inexpensive airport is very convenient for the southwest suburbs. The entire staff there is top-notch. Will return soon!

Good service from Austin and Ryan. Fair overnight hangar fees. Simple in and out. I was a little surprised at how costly the gas was considering the facilities and distance from Chicago. Gas is about $1 less per gallon at Dupage.

Service was excellent and the staff was friendly. The FBO has plenty of space to spread out, though there’s barely anything available for water, coffee, or snacks. The golf course across the street is nearby and provides a good food option.

Just an average facility overall; the line staff did a good job. NO fuel discounts or CAA-type programs, so fuel was at retail. NO vending machines either, so bring your own lunch. Rental cars are available on site IF you can get anyone to respond. We'll use a different airport next time.

Diverted here on a tough weather day. Ryan was extremely helpful and cordial. He ran out to the ramp in 30KT wind and was trying down my plane before I could exit my plane. Highly recommended. Cirrus SR22T

Very helpful and friendly personnel, they went above and beyond to assist me secure/tie down a single piston, and were accommodating in answering my inquiries about a multi-day parking stay. Would suggest Lewis for those visiting the Chicago west suburbs.
