A fantastic spot to stop. Very attentive personnel met me at the plane and was ready to take the fuel order. Offered us to come inside and partake of complementary coffee, water and snacks. Fine facility, simple in and out. Will definitely stop here any time flying over Southwest Virginia

I have been working out of this airport with my helicopter for weeks. The fellows are amazing,and know their way around a MD500. Crew car available with some fine spots to eat. I will always use KLNP when I'm in the area!!!

A marvelous destination on an XC trip. Approach from the NW is above ridge of the Pine Mtns. A special shout out to Cory who met us at the plane, chocked our wheels, and handed us the keys to the courtesy car & refueled the plane while we went to lunch. The FBO is roomy and very well appointed. Truly a recommended stop and I look forward to a return visit. Watch out for wildlife in the vicinity of the runway. We sighted a herd of deer grazing on the field to right of Rwy 24.

4 years and 9 months following our initial review, we find ourselves back in Wise, VA, once more diverting because of weather. I’m pleased to state that as per our initial review, Joe is still the man. I am also pleased to state he has been promoted to airport manager and, allow me to tell you, he is the embodiment of what a an airport manger ought to be. Superb facilities, snacks, complimentary hot and cold drinks, crew car, and all of this after hours and still gracious as can be. 10/10 experience and one of my favorite airports to date.
